Indonesia targets to double refinery capacity by 2025

JAKARTA (Reuters) -- Indonesia is targeting to more than double its national refinery crude capacity to around 2.2 MMbpd with a program of upgrades and new developments up to 2025, data presented by state energy company Pertamina on Thursday showed.

Indonesia's total current refinery design capacity is 1 MMbpd, but operational capacity is only around 850,000 bpd. National demand is currently around 1.6 MMbpd.
