Former ADNOC exec to tackle decarbonization scenarios at IRPC EurAsia

For 11 years, Hydrocarbon Processing’s International Refining and Petrochemical Conference (IRPC) has been the leading downstream technology event. In 2019, IRPC EurAsia will be held in Helsinki, Finland, on 5–7 June.

The two-day conference and exhibition, followed by a refinery tour, will provide a high-level technical forum in which key players in the global petrochemical and refinery sector will meet to share knowledge and learn about best practices and the latest industry advances.

Kamel Ben-Naceur, General Manager, Nomadia Energy Consulting
Former Chief Economist, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC)

Kamel Ben-Naceur is the former Chief Economist for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and is currently the General Manager for Nomadia Energy Consulting, based in Abu Dhabi.

Prior to his role at ADNOC, he was the Director for Sustainability, Technology and Outlooks at the International Energy Agency. In 2014, he was appointed Tunisia’s Minister for Industry, Energy and Mines, where he launched several initiatives to transform the sectors, including a long-term strategy, the reform of energy subsidies, and a new law for renewable energy.
