Refiner requests new refinery operators get COVID vaccinations

Independent U.S. refiner Valero Energy Corp told newly hired refinery operators in Texas and Louisiana they must get vaccinations against COVID-19 as a condition of employment, people familiar with the company’s new policy said.

A Valero spokeswoman did not reply to a request for comment.
