Air Liquide America to build hydrogen facility in Louisiana Air Liquide America Corp. plans to build a new hydrogen facility in Geismar, Louisiana, to supply BASF, a key global customer of Air Liquid. Air Liquide America will purify raw hydrogen gas from Vulcan Chemicals' high-purity hydrogen requirements. This is Air Liquide America's first hydrogen operation in Louisiana, which is expected to be commissioned first-quarter 2001.
