Alfa Laval wins SEK 75 million refinery order in Saudi Arabia

Alfa Laval has received an order for Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers to a refinery in Saudi Arabia. The order value is about SEK 75 million and delivery is scheduled for 2012.

The Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers will be used in a catalytic reforming unit for production of gasoline. Last year half of Alfa Laval’s big orders came from refineries and the vast majority of these included Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers.
“This order confirms the continuous demand from the refinery industry”, says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group. “And once again our Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers have proved their unique energy efficiency for demanding applications within the refinery and petrochemical industries.”

Did you know... that Saudi Arabia maintains the world’s largest crude oil production capacity, estimated to be over 12 million barrels per day at the end of 2010.
