Turnaround begins at Bilbao oil refinery

Spain’s Petronor began a maintenance shutdown on the 130,000 barrel per day crude distillation unit (CDU) plant 1) and associated units at its Bilbao oil refinery, the company said

The smaller of the two CDUs will remain operational during the maintenance which is expected to last until the first half of July.

The maintenance will involve 1,200 workers, from 40 companies.

Repsol is a majority shareholder in Petronor.
