Gastech picks Singapore as 2015 host, selects Hydrocarbon Processing for show daily
Gastech, known as one of the worlds largest and most prestigious LNG and natural gas conferences and exhibitions, is coming to Singapore in 2015, the group announced on Thursday.
The move reflects the countrys growing strategic importance as a regional hub for the Asian gas market, according to Gastech officials.
The build-up started with a launch event hosted by dmg :: events, BG Group and the Energy Market Authority. The launch attracted over 200 VIPs and stakeholders from the gas industry
including representatives from Chevron, Eon, the High Commission of Canada, Pavilion Energy, Singapore LNG, UK Trade & Investment, IE Singapore, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Shell, Government of Western Australia, Keppel Energy, Gazprom Marketing & Trading, and many more.
At the announcement, officials also confirmed that Hydrocarbon Processing will once again produce the show daily newspaper for the four-day event.

Held every 18 months, Gastech brings together the international gas community to discuss the key commercial and technical issues affecting the industry.
The event attracts over 20,000 international visitors, 2,000 conference delegates, 500 international, regional and local exhibitors and is firmly established as one the worlds leading LNG and natural gas events.
Gastech also brings the industry together through its conference program, international exhibition and other show features. The 2015 conference will feature 3 streams focusing on Commercial, Marine & Shipping and Gas & LNG Technology issues.
