HUG '18 preview of Honeywell Process Solutions User Group
The theme for Honeywell Users Group Americas event June 17-22, 2018 by Honeywell Process Solutions is "knowledge now", displayed as knowledge
Once again this week-long event (#HUG18) is being hosted in the family-friendly JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort. All the organizational arrangements, for those of us attending as media and analysts from a dozen publications, have been flawless.
During the first few days, after Sunday night's welcome reception and Monday morning's keynotes, our group will have a round-table discussion with the John Rudolph, President of Honeywell Process Solutions. We then each get scheduled individual half-hour briefings with 8 HPS spokespersons on specific portfolios, plus the media & analysts group gets an hour-long briefing on cybersecurity solutions and services with a team of HPS experts.

For all the attendees, the agenda offers a menu across multiple tracks of technology sessions, customer sessions, roundtables, workshops and a HUG Americas Symposium. plus training the last two days. HUG also offers demos and a "Connected Plant Tour" in their Knowledge Center, which also has regular "spotlight" sessions. There is a "Consultants Corner" where attendees can sign up, for times to meet solution experts.
HUG have organized different dinners e.g. regional, family night, and a gala dinner. There are many Honeywell reps here who have each meal with their clients, ensure they are getting the sessions they want.
