Improve exploration, production and refining with ‘add-at-will’ wireless automation
After the technology was validated, a wireless infrastructure was installed blanketing 80% of a US refinery
Chevron is committed to leadership in exploration, production growth and profitable refining utilization. Process automation is an important enabler of these goals. As part of its continuous focus to add business value, the companys automation experts participated in very early wireless sensor and mesh network development and testing and IEC 62591 (WirelessHART) technology.
