Innovative and flexible flame-detection series   The FLAMEVision (FV) 40 series of flame-detection products includes five configurable models that reportedly meet the needs of multiple industries and environments that have significant flame risk. Each model in the series has a different level of flame-detection technology. The FV-40 single-IR model detects hydrocarbon-based fuel and gas fires. In addition to detecting hydrocarbon-based fuel and gas fires, the FV-40 UV model also recognizes invisible hydrogen flames and fires from hydrides, ammonia, silane and other organics. The FV-40 UV/IR model senses and analyzes radiant energy in the short-wavelength band of the electro
