TWD Technologies has been selected by Great Lakes Biodiesel to build what is said to be Canada’s largest biodiesel plant. It is scheduled to be operational by the autumn of 2012. TWD is providing full engineering, procurement and construction management for the plant, which is to be located in Welland, Ontario. The new Great Lakes Biodiesel plant will produce ASTM 6751-quality biodiesel made primarily from Canadian vegetable oils, such as canola and soybean.
