 Irving Oil refinery begins $60-million turnaround A major turnaround is underway at Irving Oil’s refinery in Saint John, Canada. It began in early March and is expected to last until mid-April. The company has enlisted 1,700 additional workers to perform scheduled maintenance on several processing units at the refinery. Work will be underway 24 hours a day, seven days a week, until the project is completed. The project represents a $60 million investment to ensure the safety, reliability and environmental performance of the refinery.
