RIO DE JANEIRO -- Brazilian state-run energy giant Petroleo Brasileiro, or Petrobras, said Venezuelas national oil company still wants to participate in a troubled refinery joint-venture in northeast Brazil, CEO Maria das Gracas Foster said Monday.
Ms. Foster said Petrobras representatives met last week with their counterparts in Venezuela.
She reiterated a November 2012 deadline for Petroleos de Venezuela SA, or PdVSA, to secure loan guarantees for its 40% stake in the $15 billion Abreu e Lima refinery project.
