HART Communication hosts user technology forum

The HART Communication Foundation will host a free one-day event for end users on June 27 (8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) at the Marriott Westchase hotel in Houston, Texas, the group announced on Friday.

The event, HART: Benefits Today and Into the Future, includes presentations by end users and suppliers, a panel discussion, three technology workshops, and a networking reception. This event is free for users, but seating is limited and registration is required.

“This year the foundation celebrates 20 years serving the process automation industry," said Ron Helson, Foundation executive director. "To commemorate this milestone, we are hosting 20th anniversary events where users can learn the benefits and value of using the full capabilities of HART technology.

"We invite HART users to attend and learn how to save money and improve operations using HART Communication," he added.

The event features two user presentations that demonstrate cost savings and benefits achieved using HART technology in real-world applications, according to company officials.

Activities also include three educational technology workshops that include live demonstrations of HART and WirelessHART communication. The workshops will be conducted by industry experts from major suppliers.

Details on those presentations and other event activities can be found at the company's website.
