Alfa Laval to supply heat exchangers for Korean petrochemicals complex

Heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling company Alfa Laval has won an order to supply its Packinox heat exchangers to a petrochemical plant in South Korea.
The order, booked in Alfa Laval's energy and process business segment, has a value of approximately SEK 170 million ($19.9 million). Delivery is scheduled for 2017.
The order comprises the delivery of Packinox heat exchangers which will recover energy in the production of mixed xylenes, ingredients in the manufacturing of synthetic nylons and PET bottles.
This order confirms that customers in the demanding petrochemical and refinery sectors, value the reliable performance of our highly energy-efficient Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers, said Lars Renström, president and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
The name and specific location of the client were not disclosed.
