Milt Schutt is a Process Design Manager in the olefins technology group for TechnipFMC Process Technology, based in Houston, Texas. He has been working with TechnipFMC over the past 30 yr in roles related to olefins plant design. He is responsible for ensuring safety in design and compliance with the latest design codes for equipment, piping and overpressure protection in new and existing steam crackers. He holds an MS degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University and a BS degree in chemistry from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.
