Air Products wins top supplier award from Boeing

Air Products has received a performance excellence award from aviation group Boeing for its role in supplying merchant gases, officials said on Monday.

Boeing issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Air Products maintained a "gold" composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013.

Air Products is one of 124 suppliers to receive the gold level of recognition.

"We are honored to be recognized by Boeing for our superior supplier performance," said Nelson Squires, vice president and general manager of the company's merchant gases business in North America. 

"Air Products strives to exceed the expectations of every customer in every industry we serve," he added.
