Iran's Persian Gulf Mehr refinery scheduled for completion in early 2025

Speaking on the sidelines of the closing day of the 28th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition dubbed “Iran Oil Show 2024," Brigadier General Abdolreza Abed said that the Persian Gulf Mehr refinery is under construction and making good progress. Phase 1 of the refinery's construction is expected to be completed in early 2025.
He also emphasized the successful development of phases 15 and 16 of the South Pars Gas Field phases and the ongoing efforts by the Khatam-al Anbiya Construction Headquarters. Today, 179 MMm3/d of gas/day produced in these phases are injected into the nationwide gas network, the official added.
Notably, he pointed out the substantial contribution of the Persian Gulf Star refinery to the nation's gasoline supply, contributing approximately 45% of daily gasoline in the country.
