Chevron Nigeria withdraws from Olokola LNG
The OKLNG project comprises the Nigerian National Petroleum Corp., BG Group, Chevron and Royal Dutch Shell. Shell was said to have also withdrawn from the project last month, while BG left in June 2012.
Lukoil completes first wave of Iraqi worker training
Russia's OAO Lukoil has completed the training of some 170 Iraqis on various qualifications, including well production, oil and gas treatment, instrumental and control and mechanical engineering. Some 160 other Iraqis will graduate from the company's training center in Iraq in May 2014.
Yemen to raise prices on LNG exports by 2014

The refinery, located in Hoima district, some 130 miles west of the capital Kampala, will supply refined petroleum products to the domestic market, as the country seeks to slash its imports bill and become self-sufficient in fuel products. The refining project is expected to cost $2 billion.
Global LNG spending to double in next five years
The increase in capital expenditures includes onshore and offshore projects to liquefy gas for export, import terminals to regasify LNG and LNG carriers for transporting the fuel. By region, Australasia and North America are expected to bring most of the new supply to market.
