Technip wins engineering for Lucius deepwater project in US Gulf
Technip was awarded a lump sum contract by Anadarko Petroleum for the engineering, construction and transport of a 23,000 ton truss Spar hull for their Lucius deepwater project in US Gulf of Mexico. The floating production facility will have a capacity of 80,000 bpd of oil and 450 million cubic feet/day of natural gas.
Shaw to study Iraq refinery rehabilitation project
The Shaw Group said Tuesday that it was awarded a contract by the South Refineries Co. - part of Iraq’s Ministry of Oil - to provide a feasibility study for the rehabilitation of its 140,000 bpd refinery in Basra, Iraq. The study is funded by the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) through a grant to the South Refineries Co.
Haldor Topsøe wins diesel hydrotreater deal for Rosneft refinery in Russia
Haldor Topsøe has won the contract for a diesel hydrotreating unit for the Russian Syzran Refinery owned by Rosneft, the largest Russian oil company. The contract is a continuation of Topsøe’s and Rosneft’s collaboration, the companies said.

Jacobs Engineering Group says it received a contract from Shell in India to build an integrated organization with Shell’s project design office in Bangalore, India. Jacobs Engineering Group will provide engineering and procurement services for the newly-formed joint venture between Honeywell and Sinochem. The joint venture, to be located in Taicang, Jiangsu Province, plans to produce HFC-245fa, a non-ozone-depleting rigid foam blowing agent used in insulation.
