Magellan says less diesel spilled in Iowa than estimated
(Reuters) -- Magellan Midstream Partners on Tuesday said about 1,100 barrels of diesel had spilled from one of its refined products pipelines in Worth County, Iowa last week, lower than its earlier estimates.
EIA: Mexican gasoline market reforms could influence US gasoline export trends
The Mexican government is in the process of opening its gasoline and diesel markets to outside competition and replacing government-set prices with market-based prices. Last year, Mexico began allowing entities other than the state-owned company Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) to import gasoline and diesel and open retail stations.
Brazil's Petrobras reduces diesel and gasoline prices at refineries
SAO PAULO (Reuters) -- Brazil's state-run oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA announced on Thursday it is reducing diesel and gasoline prices at refineries, reflecting the fall in international petroleum products prices and the appreciation of the local currency against the dollar.
Magellan Midstream says Iowa pipeline still shut after diesel spill
(Reuters) -- Magellan Midstream Partners LP said on Thursday its refined products pipeline in Worth County, Iowa, remained shut after spilling about 3,300 barrels of diesel.
10,000 liters of Neste renewable diesel produced from waste ham fat
Last Christmas, 40,000 Finnish households donated the waste fat from their Christmas hams to the charity campaign "Kinkkutemppu," which literally translates into Ham Trick. From this waste ham fat, Neste produced 10,000 liters of Neste MY Renewable Diesel at its Porvoo refinery for sale at Neste stations. Neste donates the value of the product to Hope, an association which helps low-income families, and to Icehearts, a sports club which aims to prevent social exclusion and promote well-being.
Falcon Oil converts Pennsylvania locations to Gulf
WELLESLEY HILLS, Mass. -- Gulf Oil has increased its reach in Pennsylvania through an expanded relationship with Falcon Oil. With this expansion, Gulf will provide branded wet barrel supply to several of the Blakely, Pennsylvania-based company's stations throughout the region.
Additech launches diesel fuel additive test market
HOUSTON – Additech announced the pilot market testing of a newly developed additive engineered specifically for diesel fuel, Additech Diesel Guard. The pilot test will begin on Jan. 23 at eight retail locations in five states in the US that provide a cross-section of seasonal driving conditions.
Mexico's Pemex imports first diesel cargo via train from US
MEXICO CITY (Reuters) -- Mexico's state oil company Pemex began receiving imported fuel by train at a new privately run terminal for the first time in January as companies expand storage and transportation operations under the country's energy opening, a senior executive said in an interview.
