GE Oil & Gas has $32 million contract in Peru
GE Oil & Gas has been awarded a $32 million contract by PlusPetrol Peru Corporation S.A. to supply compression and reinjection upgrade equipment to boost the output of the Malvinas Natural Gas Liquid (NGL) processing plant, located 400 kilometers from Lima at the southern section of the Peruvian Amazon rainforest.

Bixby Energy Systems’ new liquefaction technology
Bixby Energy Systems, Inc. has added carbon liquefaction technology to its energy portfolio, which when commercialized, will allow the company to produce both synthetic natural gas and light sweet crude oil from coal without the need to burn the coal and significantly reducing greenhouse gases.
Pall brought on board for UAE natural gas plant
Pall Corp. has been contracted to supply critical enabling technologies for the Habshan 5 natural gas treatment plant being constructed by Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO) in the UAE. A joint venture of Tecnimont S.p.A. and JGC Corp has ordered Pall SepraSolTM liquid/gas coalescer systems, filters, porous metal high flow elements and activated carbon units for the approximately $5 billion processing plant.
Siemens to work on NGL plant in UAE
Siemens Energy has been awarded a $40 million project in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to engineer and supply an integrated power solution for a natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionation plant. The customer is a joint venture between Petrofac and GS E&C on behalf of Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO), responsible for the fractionation of natural and associated gas from onshore oil operations in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Siemens will be the main electrical contractor for GASCO’s Ruwais 4th NGL train, located in the city of Ruwais, UAE. The train is scheduled to go into operation in March 2012.
Bixby Energy Systems sells devolitization units in China
Bixby Energy Systems, through its Chinese partner, Global Partners United, LLC (GPU), has received two additional orders for its patent-pending coal-to-gas devolitization units. The first will be shipped to a methanol plant in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China, to provide methane for the production of methanol. The unit will be operated through a joint venture with GPU and Ordos I-Valley, an industrial technology provider. The City of Ordos sits on about one-sixth of the total reserves of usable coal in China.
